2025-Haverhill Firefighters Local 1011 vs. City of Haverhill

Haverhill Firefighters Local 1011 just received a decision from the Department of Labor Relations finding that the City of Haverhill violated the law when their Mayor made comments that had a chilling effect on Union activity. With this ruling, the Department of Labor Relations has reaffirmed its long held standard that statements from management that discourage Unions and their members from exercising their protected rights undermine the collective bargaining relationship and cannot be tolerated.
